3 Day Gorilla Trek in Bwindi National Park

While on this tour in Uganda you will visit its popularly known Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the South western part of Uganda for variety of shy ground dwelling species of Mountain Gorillas.

Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will be picked by our Safari guide and transfer up to your booked hotel of residence.

Day 1: From Kampala – to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning after your breakfast, check out and embark our Safari jeep plus your luggage. The journey to Bwindi starts with our experienced fluently English speaking guide via Kampala- Masaka- Mbarara highway.

En route stop over at the equator is included for brief explanation about the equator, photos when posing at the equator and snacks plus buying some crafts and souvenirs sold around.

After that session, you will continue with the journey up to the Park, lunch is often provided en route in Mbarara town. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in for relaxation, diner and overnight stay.

Midrange: Gorilla Mist Camp/Silver back lodge

Luxury: Mahogany springs/Chameleon Hill/Buhoma lodge

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking- Bwindi Forest

Have early morning breakfast, after drive to the park offices or starting point where you will be briefed by the park officials about how to behave in the jungle.

You will be divided into groups of 8 people since each gorilla family is allowed to be visited by one group of eight people per day.

After briefing, each group is assigned to park rangers for the journey heading to the Jungle following the permanently established routes in search of these apes.

After locating these apes in the Jungles you are allowed to stay in their presence for only one hour while seeing them playing, feeding, laughing plus taking photos and videos of them.

After the one hour experience return to the Park offices for Gorilla trekking certificate award and then after return to the lodge for relaxation or visit the Batwa people in their local communities.

Day 3: Visit Lake Bunyonyi- Drive to Kampala

After your overnight stay in Bwindi check out for amazing local boat ride along waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Later start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces.

This journey is characterized with en route viewing of the lush vegetation of different areas you will go through. Lunch is provided in Mbarara and then after lunch you continue to Kampala arriving late afternoon.

Our guide will drop you off to the hotel of residence or at the airport for your flight back home. End of Safari.
