6 Day Visit Queen Elizabeth & Murchison Falls

This Safari in Uganda combines two Parks which are popularly known for great offering of stunning Wildlife.

Different Wildlife Species exist including Wild animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions, Leopards, Kobs, Warthogs, Spotted hyenas, Hartebeests, Bush bucks and more often sighted while on game drive.

On arrival you will be picked by our safari guide and transfer from airport up to your hotel of residence in Kampala for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 1: Kampala – Drive to Queen Elizabeth

Embark the safari vehicle after your delicious morning breakfast, start the amazing journey from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park including en route stopover in Kayabwe at the equator for some brief explanation about it, snacks, cup of coffee and photos.

After equator, the journey continues to Mbarara for another stopover to have lunch and after lunch continue to Kasese through the vast and eye catching tea plantations, awesome views of landscapes, valleys and other features.

Day 2: Game Drive in Ishasha & Launch Cruise

Early in the morning have breakfast at the lodge, after transfer to southern Ishasha sector for the morning game drive. Game drive in Ishasha grants you opportunities of sighting the famous tree climbing lions resting up in the fig tree branches.

Often a suitable pop up Safari vehicle is used for game driving exposing you to different Wildlife species including wild animals, Bird species and more.

This experience lasts for about 3-4 hours and after drive to Mweya canteen for lunch as you get prepared for the afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel.

This offers several stunning views, sighting of different aquatic species like Hippos, Crocodiles, water birds and wild animals which come closer to the banks in need of water.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth – Murchison Falls

Early in the morning have breakfast and after check out for the transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Murchison Falls National Park via Hoima and then to Masindi, you will have lunch en route and after continue to the lodge for check in, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Second Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison

Early in the morning have breakfast and after be in for the morning game drive which reveals several views of different Wild animals like Giraffes, Buffaloes, Elephants, Kobs, Lions, Leopards, Bush bucks, Reed bucks, Warthogs and more.

After return to the lodge for lunch as you get prepared for the afternoon boat cruise along the waters of the falls to sight more Wildlife species. It starts from points of higher altitude to bottom of the falls. After boat cruise return to the lodge.

Day 5: Chimp Tracking in Budongo & Top of the fall

Have your morning breakfast and after transfer to the starting point for a short briefing about Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo.

After the tracking journey to the Jungle is started in search of these primates and after locating them you are allowed to be in their presence for some time while seeing them playing, feeding, laughing, swinging under the tree branches plus taking photos and videos of them.

After return to the lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon you will hike up to the top of the falls allowing to sight the nice scenic views of some parts of the Park. After return to the lodge.

Day 6: Murchison – Drive Back to Kampala

Early in the morning have breakfast, after check out for the glorious journey back to Kampala including stopover in Nakitoma – Nakasongola district for Rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

This activity last for about one hour and after continue to Kampala for overnight stay or Entebbe for your return flight back home. End of Wildlife Safari in Uganda.
