1 Day Mabamba Birding Excursions
Uganda is a paradise for bird watching. The Open Savannah grasslands, ideal landscapes accompanied by grand canyons, the Marshy Swamps and tropical rain forests are natural habitats to more than 500 hundred Species including the rarely seen shoebill stork.
On arrival you will be welcomed by our driver guide. Meet and great at the airport and later transfer up to your hotel of residence in Entebbe.
Day 1: Boat Cruise to Mabamba – Bird watching – Return to Entebbe.
Early in the morning you will have your breakfast. After join the cruise to Mabamba Swamp with your packed lunch. This swamp is located along the shores of Lake Victoria. It is one of the main habitats for shoebill storks in Uganda.
Apart from shoebill, birders usually see multiple other species of birds that enjoy the cool atmospheres in Mabamba. Remember to come with good quality cameras for pretty photos of the swamp and birds in place.
After birding you will return to Entebbe for your return flight or overnight stay in Entebbe. End of one day tour to Mabamba.
